I wonder if Baba Vanga's prediction is to come true.
Quite worrying.

I don't know how true this news is, but so far it has been covered by many reputable sources.
Chemical war seems to be the current threat. The news entails Germany's worry about their water supply being poisoned etc.

There's a big difference between the precautionary measures taken for some annually striking weather calamity and the measures suggested with the possibility of destruction, to be caused by the humans.

We're doomed, we're doomed.
This was a common call during the Cold War in the West Germany, especially in the 80's (I was there) when Active Edge was a common practice. But unlike then there are diplomatic conditions and at less two very large nations that require to be transited through before the real game is up. The main concern is that the Russki's will turn off the gas first.
The reporting of the whole thing is out of proportion to what the Germans are actually proposing, they are talking of bringing conscription back and many other measures including restrictions on the wearing of the burka. The SN tree hugging, duffle coat wearing, quinoa munching, decaf, Corbin-ite, softee's have not made any play about that?
Bring back F1 Fan I say

Bringing back f1 is cool, but this piece of news is not really exaggerated by the media. You yourself say that:
Yes, play can be made about all that too, but I think Cold War situation is not any less important.
Thanks for bringing other measures into the context, as they play important role in worsening things in and for Europe.

A saying I heard somewhere: 'We are just six meals away from anarchy'.
The more I thought about it the scarier it sounds!
Just proves how fragile western civilisation has become.

Apparently the Polish PM has now asked Merkel to EXPLAIN the recent spate of attacks on Poles living in Germany by Syrian "refugees".
A pregnant Polish woman attacked and may have been killed with a machete, the latest.
The Germans, of course, took in a million so-called refugees.

....and in France, first Burkini and now this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016...ng-women-as-t/
Such ignorant attitude is not going to help Europe as a collective, is it.
Some may think and say that a sole incident caused by some ignorant is f@@k all and all hyped up by the media. One needs to understand that these sole and lone actors are potentially very dangerous and a serious threat to their nation's security. In addition, I hear that France, as a country in general is blatantly racist against the Muslims. Charlie Hebdo's wind up 'humour' aside.

The reality is that France has more b@lls than the UK and is finished bending over for Muslims. And good on them.

I appreciate your 'wonder' but where I 'heard' that isn't important. The reality is that basing upon your experience of France, you have said your piece, anyway. But one of them ignorantly calling or implying that 'all' Muslims are terrorists is wrong and self-destructive because it attracts negative attention and works as a potential threat to his nation's security, or does it not? What do you say to that? What I'm saying is that France in general seems to have a reputation of being unreasonably flippant and blatantly racist when it comes to Islam. If you call this sort of (as per the news in the context) unreasonable flippant expression and racism as 'having more *****' and 'good on them', then you identify with their thought process and attitude. I can't say that it's good on you.
