Default Multipacks of crisps

I bought a multipack of 24 bags of Quavers. They were on offer.

I just made myself some lunch, 1 bread roll, and had a packet of the Quavers. I felt either the bag had a hole in the bottom and some had fallen out or a mouse has had ago. But no as I just read that the bag is only 16g!

Feel robbed!

I thought normally a multipack bag is around the 25g

Quavers are basically the worst crisps you can buy as half of the actual crisp is air anyway! I find Mcoys crinkle cut crisps are the most satasifying. Hell, everything is smaller these days, it's just something people have to realise now.

So that gives you 32 grams, which was about the weight a packet of them used to be

Beef space raiders for me. Was talking to a fella a while back who works for Kimberly Clark where they make andrex toilet rolls. I said about the tube in the middle getting bigger, and he said all the companies do it, depending on the state of the economy. Anything for a bit more profit.

Thieving buggers, I only buy them from the local almost out of date shop now £1 for 18 bags of Walkers, never last long enough around my house to worry about the date.

The biggest joke has to be the Slimcia bread. Half the calories of a normal slice of bread. Nothing to do with it being half the size then?

I just eat kettle crisps or pringles. Can't be done with small portions.
And snack bars have shrunken so much they are a complete joke, hence I don't even bother with them so all the more healthy for me!

I wonder if crisp packets/bars of chocolate have shrunk in the USA! I bet not.

I've never seen the chicken flavour. The ones Ive tried are the curry, pickled onion and salt and vinegar. As for the Ritz, Ive not seen those for a quite a while either.

I try and compare weights when I go shopping. Any crisps under 25g I'll pass on. Although it's getting harder these days with less choice as the manufacturers are all going for smaller portions to maintain their profit margins.

Farmfoods Ridges for me. Like their own brand McCoys, but more flavour and 30 packets for £3.50.

Or Lidl own brand Pringles, 94p a tube.
