Default Thoughts on this scooby chaps, should i, shouldnt i??

Thoughts on this WRX chaps?

Its had a staggering 15 owners and the seller only has the green slip, no logbook. Oh and hes only owned the car for a month. Plus its a cat D (we arnt doing very well here). However, it looks the nuts and cheap at that money.

should i, shouldnt i?

First of all it's not 'cheap'. It's £5k for a 10 year old car with a doubtful history.
It does look good in the pictures, but all that glitters etc.
It's your money and if you drive it and like it then roll the dice.

How much of a worrier are you? If I bought this car I'd have a little voice in my mind constantly asking, why so many owners, why did he sell it after only one month etc?

Perhaps that's why I've been faithful to one woman for 20 yrs!

^This^ Drive it, and take someone with Subaru experience with you. My T25 had 9 previous owners but I still drove it home.

I don't think it's cheap IMO.

Very nice except for the classic boot spoiler, reasonable mileage, with a spec to rival it's looks

I agree with the above, take a knowledgeable Scoob owner with you and see what he thinks. I'm pretty open to fixing most issues I inherit but watch for noticeable engine/car judder on tickover as that can mean compression losses. Power seems a bit low for the spec, if he's running more than 1.3bar I'd be a bit dubious.

Offer 4.2k, if it's a dud be safe in the knowledge I got a refund for a car(after a few months ownership) that wasn't fit for purpose through the courts.

I have a JDM WRX Blob with less miles, less owners and less work required that I would ask less for . The seller is deluded
