Tunes from the attic
Yes, literally. The 'so yesterday........' ones that may sound impactful after many years.
I found this one at random today and thought it was good.
Let's see yours, if any of you fancy sharing it.

If I can be allowed to digress slighting, my family and I were on a short holiday a few weeks ago in County Kerry, we rented a holiday cottage which had an old hi-fi system in the lounge. Cued up on the turntable was Hits 4 from 1986. As my wife and I are kids of the 80's I dusted this off and played back some of the tracks just for the fun of it. It was a weird spur of the moment thing which for me has created a lot of fun memories of that trip.

1.A-ha - The Sun Always Shines On T.V.
2.Feargal Sharkey - You Little Thief

I was the kid of the same time, but in another country. I became acquainted to the 60's onward (and even older) classics (classics to me, anyway) in the 90's when I arrived in this country at a bit over 20 YO. Even then, the music that entertained me and moved me then makes ample sense to me. So many buried memories, like hidden seashells under the sea sands! Not every music of that time essentially brings happy memories to me, but even the sad ones are meaningful, as they're also my seashells.
Some great tunes and their titles posted here.

There was no boundary breaking internet then. Random melodies from the West took so long to be swept to the other side that by the time, they would have gone past their 'sell by' date here. Now they get to watch new James Bond there before it's even released here. Anyroad, this was one of the musical pleasures I learnt about when I was in the Uni in late 80's. I loved it, then! Listening to it again, I feel that I still love it no matter how ancient it is for today:
