Default Track day

Two other M135iers plus an older Z4 are off to Bedford West for a track day; leaving tomorrow, 10am start on Saturday; should be fun!

Jealous! Haven't done a trackday for years. Enjoy!

Just remember it's not a race and there are no prizes for hitting the armco.

Looks like you could hire an M4 there as well

Of course there are, your car gets a chauffeur driven ride back to the pits.

To everyone else, should be good - it's a fairly wide track and I'm having a couple of tutored laps. Tyres are on 3-4mm so just about ideal.

Hope the new fuel pump I had fitted yesterday holds up!

Absolutely loved it! The car was superb despite being tortured. Set a reasonable lap time but it's new tyre time!

Good. Looks likes it was a good day there with almost clear sky with non-productive clouds and ample sunshine for it.

Glad you had fun and got the car home in one piece.

Go on then I'll bite for you, tell us about this lap time then and how it compares to others posted.

1m 37s; the track was lengthened a year or two ago.
Definitely nothing special but I wasn't the slowest at least! Just started to get the hang of it then we finished.
I think the fact it was trouble free on the eight hour trip up (5.5 back) shows it's quite an all rounder.
I need new tyres rather soon...

I lost both my front wheel centre caps!

How are the pads? I used to do a set of ceramic pads at Combe back in the day.

Still okay; the brakes coped remarkably well.
I'll change them at the next service due soon.
