So..........out of eight possible candidates here, a safe Labour seat, only Labour knocked on my door, (and were sent packing).

Go figure.

Yep, only Labour here, despite Jake Berry emailing me over and over he and his band of merry men never bothered to actually come round.

Anyway the exchange with Labour was funny:

Labour man: Hi, can we count on your support at the GE

Me: Nope!

Labour man: Can I ask why?

Me: Yes, ten years in the Labour Party only to discover Blair was a fake! Left in 1999, never voted for them since and probably never will.

Labour man: Actually I agree with you, goodbye!

Living in one of the marginals meant campaigning was very heavy around her. Both lab and cons were around twice on doorstep. Also had dozens of leaflets , emails as well. Cons won last time with less than 200 majority so we expected a labour victory this time around though the cons managed to increase it to over 2500. We also had a turnout of over 76% which is good to see.

Economy improving, unemployment down, lower taxation. Disbelief of anything Milliband either said or engraved. Memories of previous Labour government etc

Lowering yourself to name calling yet again, you really do need to grow up a little sometimes. Can you not just accept that others, in fact the majority, have a different view to yours. That's what's happs in life, it would be pretty boring if we were all the same. Thank God we're not, just one of you is enough.

And are you denying that unemployment is down, the economy is improving and that you pay less tax.? I guess you probably will with your deluded state of mind.

Ah so you can snipe all you like, but when I give it back you have a little cry

Anyway dumb ****, get some maths lessons. 36.9% is not a majority.

As for the rest of your post it's all just opinion and a daft one at that! As Trinity said wait until you become disabled or need the state for some other reason and then you won' be quite so c0cky. Sooner the better I reckon

Under the current electoral system, yes it is, if it wasn't then the Conservatives wouldn't be power coalition free.

As for wishing for someone to have a debilitating condition...

No it's not a majority, what it is is enough votes to get the Tories elected, but a majority it is not under any stretch of the imagination!

My other comment related to generically needing the state not wishing a debilitating condition. Nice to see you once again breaking your mantra of not engaging me though you hypocritical little so and so!

Like I said, under the current electoral system, it is classed as a majority, the Conservatives received the majority of the votes. Not sure how you want see before you class it as a majority, but officially it is classed as a majority.

No it's not!

They won a majority of seats, they did not get a majority of votes! If you cannot understand that then I suggest you step away from the computer and stay away from sharp objects

Ok, I'll concede that, I meant seats not votes. It's like you meant "genric"

Chris, After the PM's you sent me regarding my wife when she was seriously ill I really did think you were better than this. You really have hit a low there wishing that upon myself. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Badly worded I grant you, but I was referring to needing the state not becoming disabled! My genuine apologies that it read like that!
