Help me out with this would you?
I'm trying to find out what's wrong with these policies, but I'm damned if I can.
Would anybody tell me where the problem is?
1. Get Britain out of the European Union
2. Get control of immigration with an Australian style points system
3. Cut £9bn from our foreign aid budget
4. Ensure our armed forces are properly equipped
5. Scrap the HS2 project
6. Foreign vehicles to require a “Britdisc pass” to pay for the use of our roads as we do over there!
7. Houses on brownfield sites to be Stamp Duty exempt on first sale
8. Local referenda for development, if triggered by 5% of electorate
9. Withdrawing from the European Court of Human Rights
10. Replacing the Human Rights Act with a British Bill of Rights
11. Simplifying planning regulations for commercial properties
12. Abolishing Inheritance Tax
13. Ensuring migrants have NHS approved health insurance until they have paid into the system for five years
14. Ending hospital car parking charges
15. Ensuring a high standard of English speaking in the NHS
16. Repealing the Climate Change Act 2008 which costs the economy £18bn per year
17. No new taxpayer subsidy for wind farms
18. Leaving the Common Agricultural Policy
19. Reinstating British territorial waters
20. Ban live animal exports for slaughter
21. Scrapping the “Bedroom Tax”
22. Safeguarding visitation rights for grandparents
23. Prioritising social housing for those whose parents and grandparents were born locally
24. Reaffirming British laws, rather than allowing dual track legal systems for minorities in the UK
25. Promoting patriotism and the importance of British values in our schools

I'm trying to find out what's wrong with these policies, but I'm damned if I can.
Would anybody tell me where the problem is?
1. Get Britain out of the European Union - not so sure, will jobs be lost if we do? most base coming out on the silly little laws brought in by EU which always generate bad publicity
2. Get control of immigration with an Australian style points system - Totally agree
3. Cut £9bn from our foreign aid budget- But how much revenue does this aid generate for us by trading with these countries
4. Ensure our armed forces are properly equipped - definately
5. Scrap the HS2 project - maybe, but invest the same amount on the railways where it is needed.
6. Foreign vehicles to require a “Britdisc pass” to pay for the use of our roads as we do over there!- Agree
7. Houses on brownfield sites to be Stamp Duty exempt on first sale- Agree
8. Local referenda for development, if triggered by 5% of electorate- Agree
9. Withdrawing from the European Court of Human Rights- Agree
10. Replacing the Human Rights Act with a British Bill of Rights- Agree
11. Simplifying planning regulations for commercial properties-Agree
12. Abolishing Inheritance Tax- Agree, a most unfair tax.
13. Ensuring migrants have NHS approved health insurance until they have paid into the system for five years- Agree strongly
14. Ending hospital car parking charges- someone has to pay for the building and upkeep of car parks, in Wales where most car parks are free the cost of this is borne by the hospitals, I'd rather pay a little to park and see the money being used on care. Long term patients could have passes for visiting families to park as could frequent out-paitents etc
15. Ensuring a high standard of English speaking in the NHS- Definately.
16. Repealing the Climate Change Act 2008 which costs the economy £18bn per year- well, my solar panels pay me nicely every quarter
17. No new taxpayer subsidy for wind farms- power needs to come from somewhere, wind farms are clean and provide cheap leccy when running, only when windy though. We need to look at clean fuels ,invest more in hydro as well.
18. Leaving the Common Agricultural Policy- Agree
19. Reinstating British territorial waters-Agree
20. Ban live animal exports for slaughter- Agree, and more should be done promoting British produce rather than importing foreign rubbish ie supermarkets
21. Scrapping the “Bedroom Tax”- For some maybe, for others who do not contribute and never have yet live alone in a 4 bed detached house as a friend of ours does then no, why should we subsidise their living arangements.
22. Safeguarding visitation rights for grandparents- agree
23. Prioritising social housing for those whose parents and grandparents were born locally- Agree
24. Reaffirming British laws, rather than allowing dual track legal systems for minorities in the UK-Definately
25. Promoting patriotism and the importance of British values in our schools

Promotion is all well and good if the product is good enough. And it needs to be further than the just the home market. British Leyland fell in to that trap, and look where that ended up.
Quite a populist manifesto there. Not much wrong with it, but details probably would complicate it though - i.e ECHR...replacing it with a UK one...it'll only be any good if the UK version is better implemented.

And there in lies the problem. Put anytime into thinking about the implementation and most of what UKIP propose becomes pointless/unworkable or in other words, a colossal waste of tax payers money.

Read below the line at various newspapers and you see comments like "I can't believe UKIP is so low in the polls, everyone I speak to is voting UKIP", there is much more going on than the media is letting on to

Go on, what are all the implications that outweigh the ridiculous fees we pay to be a member when we can clearly do without them....
