Innocent on the basis that the Italian justice system is an utter farce. You couldn't have sex with her you'd be wondering if a knife was going to appear basic instinct style.

Lumumba says that she was acquitted because she's rich and American, and the acquittal is motivated by politics. She blamed the poor guy before, and got him jailed for fvvk all.

I am slightly confused as I was led to understand the two options the Supreme Court had were to either uphold the conviction or to send it back for a retrial
Simple acquittal was not and option
And indeed upholding the conviction would have caused a poitical headache for both countries - extradition proceedings would inevitabley start, and ultimatly it would be very hard for the US to refuse

It would be good to read a totally objective view of the case, without the spin - either for or against
Interestingly I know a very well known investigative reporter - who writes on miscarriages of justice
And one very high profile case he worked on - where the initial guilty verdict was overturned, based in part on his campaigning, he now has strong reservations about
I.e. he wrote a book about the innocents of the accused, but now he is not so sure

Being manipulative, doesn't make her guilty though.
Investigation was botched from day one....not finding that bra strap says it all...the picture of forensic investigators standing outside and going back in whilst still wearing the same footwear, cross-contaminating the scene. Using labs not qualified for DNA sampling, using techniques that were inaccurate that would flag up DNA from cross-contamination within the same lab. It just goes on and on.
The right man is in jail though. So I guess that's one small positive, although had he been jailed for his previous crimes, he'd have never gone on to murder.....

I can't believe for a minute she doesn't know who killed her - I'm not convinced she didn't do it herself.
Justice is a strange thing. My mum had a house in Cardiff and there was a murder next door. 2 men and a lady arguing in the kitchen. 1 man comes out with stab wounds and bleeds to death on my mums front lawn. Trial gets handled badly, mum gets phone call from police to say don't panic if you see man number 2 but we've had to let him go due to lack of evidence.

Obviously biased website is obviously biased. Whoever wrote all that decided Knox was guilty, then mangled all the evidence so that it fitted. Trouble is, we haven't actually seen the evidence, just reports on it based on various people's biased opinions. The police office in charge is known to be corrupt, and he decided very early on that Knox was guilty (because satanic sex was way more fun than burglary gone wrong by drug dealer). There's not even any convincing reason why we need a second person, never mind someone whose link to the actual murderer (you know, the one who was caught and confessed) can politely be described as "tenuous".
