Wife's grandad mentioned a vintage JLC he's got tucked away at home. Methinks I shall investigate...

Anyone seen that new Patek grand complication thingy? About £2m!!

It's still £80 for a fake/Copy.

My mate brought me back a Daytona from LaLaThaiLand the other year.. £40.. looked good. Till I wore it when my SeaDweller went in for a serivce. Over the next 6months the fake daytona started to wear - the strap over lock clasp fell off. I'd of sent it back as I'd not had it 12months, but my mate said he didn't have a postal address for teh market stall

lol

Paul, don't waste your hard earned on cheap nasty Chinese fakes when
there is so much more available for the money. Everything from Seiko
autos to some very cool vintage pieces if you look in the right places.

Top comment right there. You dont need to spend a fortune to get a really decent and well respected watch, dont waste your cash on junk fakes. Check out Seiko's SKX range for a start, they've got a huge cult following and a surprisingly big modding scene.
Oh and LOL at the OP, a watch fanatic but spends £80 on a fake
