The BBC are a disgrace, I can't believe we legally have to pay towards that hard-left liberal drivel just for owning a TV set. Sooner the licence fee is scrapped the better.

I'd hardly call finding out Cliff's house was being raided as part of an investigation int child sex offenses a "Scoop"
After all, it was hardly a surprise..

Next time he's on, get a stopwatch and time how much "feed in" music and jingles he plays as well as adverts for other BBC radio shows.
It probably works out as 75% padding and 25% actual "proper" music. And thats if you ignore the contant playing of Maggie Reilly, Quarterflash, and Focus.

Our radio is on top of a shelf 10ft in the air. It has no dial...Its a 1970s Beocentre. And because its not mine, I get shouted by an old duffer if I dare get a ladder to go and re-tune it, even though he spends most of his time in a office out of earshot of it.
Not that there is anything much to re-tune it to, as the alternative varies from mildly annoying to highly irritating. Did try using a FM transmitter plugged in the laptop to pick up some internet radio, but the WiFi keeps dropping out (the router is also 10ft in the air).

You don't have to pay it if you don't want to.....It's civil law not common and they can't enforce it. It's more for receiving live stream tv. You can own a TV and not buy a license. They can't gain access to your property to check and their equipment cannot prove beyond doubt that you are receiving live television. It's all a bunch of BS!

Youtube search Television License Goons. Plenty of folk sticking two fingers up at that corrupt bunch of twots. One guy even successfully argued them out of court citing the Terrorism Act.
I pay mine but purely because I have to put my family ahead of my own pig-headedness where that sort of thing is concerned.
Edited to add
The warrant is the sticking point. They never seem to execute them correctly hence the resistance from people.
