Isis punishes Britons hoping to defect
A group of Britons who were seeking to return home after fighting for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have been taken prisoner by their militant commanders.
The group were stripped of their weapons and marched to a punishment centre in the militant-held city of Raqqah in Syria, according to reports.
The five Britons were accompanied by three Frenchmen, two Germans and two Belgians, according to Focus, a German news magazine.They had apparently become disillusioned with Islamic State (Isis) and were seeking to return home. They had complained that they were spending their time fighting other rebels instead of the government of Bashar al-Assad and were concerned they were killing fellow Muslims.

No and IS have proved that by literally crucifying Christians who refused to convert to Islam. However, I've learnt to believe and have come to the conclusion that love and forgiveness trumps hate and retribution. Would I be prepared to lay down my life for that belief, would I turn the other cheek? It would certainly take enormous faith!
