Default Malaysia Airlines Crash - Another One

Early reports of another Malaysia Airlines 777 coming down, this time on the Russia-Ukraine boarder

Wonder is this will help find what bought the other one down, or if Russia have shot it down by mistake

We'll never find out what the Americans did the other one.

Interfax have claimed this one has been shot down though

It wouldn't be the first time the Russians have done it.

Crashed on the Ukraine Russian border.

The Russians were shooting down Ukraine fighters yesterday, mistaken identity ?? it wouldn't be the first time they've taken out a civil airliner in error.

Thoughts with all those on board and their families, terrible news for MH as well.

Terrible news especially for Malaysian Airlines. I just flew on a Malaysia flight and it was only just over half full. The stewardess said it's been like that since MH370!

The US only added more sanctions yesterday. I wonder what they will respond with next?

Russia shot down a Ukrainian fighter yesterday
My guess is the Ukrainians thought this was a Russian spy or fighter
Oops .. Backfired big time ..... Someone must be held accountable

Yes it does the BUK SAM will hit aircraft at 40000 feet so no problem.

Thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy

It would be easy to hit if they wanted to, they stopped flying the U-2 becuase russians sams could hit it even flying at 70k feet.

U-2 became useless cos of this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-75_Dvina

but more modern missiles will hit 100k +

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-300_%28missile%29

S400 is even newwer and more capable

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-400_%28SAM%29

nothing is safe from missile fire nowadays

easily, eurofighter has max altitude of 65k feet, so 30k is not even trying

F-15 has reached 103k feet

When I first heard it, I thought they was going to say it's been found (the missing one) then they continued to say....the above.
Still intrigued to know what happened to other one.

P.s did you get my PM?

News says that the US have satellite coverage of the area so will be able to track any SAM missile from the plume or if not see the signature of an AIM.

Doesn't look good for Russia............

Amazing that that they claim the ability to trace the vapour trail from a small missile via UV radiation satellite images yet they can't trace a large passenger aircraft that went missing over the sea.

That's the difference between having satellites trained on a know conflict zone, and wide open oceans that don't need to be watched

The news showed that the rebels General on their version of Facebook was all up himself bout how they had just shot down another antonov plane an that's what you get, now they realised it's a civilian plane that post an all other tweets from solders about them having this buk missile system have been removed but the news channels still have them. Someone on the rebel side mucked up there's no way Russia can stand by them anymore
