The Bank of England said on Monday mortgage approvals numbered 70,309 in February, the lowest since October last year.
It also represented a sharp fall from 76,753 in January, which was the highest in more than six years.

Amazingly high figures for January mean that an adjustment was obvious .... we still charge ahead ..... it's hot round here, people outbidding each other even BEFORE a house is marketed!!
It's gone BONKERS!!
My house is earning more than me and I'm pulling in a packet!!

The only thing you're pulling is Ting Tong's ****. I expect the only packet you see contains custard creams

A small breathing space would be good right now. Difficult to buy under market these days with so many owner occupiers fighting for property. The only stuff I get a sniff at now is unmortgagable property.
Anyway the last two years have been very very good indeed. So much so that this is the view from my 'hut' for the next two weeks

Cornwall is a gorgeous part of the country Mattee but it can't compare with the Indian Ocean, even with the weather taken into account.
However, you are for sure made of sturdier stuff than me so you can enjoy the more rugged charms of the UK. I'm a bit soft and so need it to be 30 degrees and dressed in budgie smugglers to enjoy outside pursuits.
Btw, your taxes haven't paid for this trip

Lots of mates have been to the Maldives - it gets some good waves. BTW, be careful posting photobucket pics - I was able to view your entire album, including house plans and I am definitely NOT some techy nerd hacker.
House price rises paid for it? I've helped pay for that is a very, very roundabout way

Thanks Mattee!
I didn't realise that about the photobucket account. Luckily there is nothing 'sensitive' in that account, but still worth being careful. I've changed some settings, can you see if you can still view all pictures please?
Thanks again
