Default A pair of old socks

1 pair. White cotton with a red and blue stripe at the top (Ivan lendal retro)
Only one or two minor holes at the toe end but nothing to really worry about.

Good for another few years if washed and ironed regularly.

£5.00 the pair(cost over £14 new) Collection only

Andrew

Ok. just found time to take a pic of the socks.

As you can see I have taken the photo while they are in the wash basket as they will be cleaned an ironed before collection.

To be honest, the photo does not really do them full justice. I would say they are slightly whiter in real life.
Also, this is not a library photo taken when the socks were first purchased so please buy with confidence.

I have turned the house upside down looking for the original packaging, I know its here somewhere. I could forward the the packaging if I find it. Otherwise I believe there should be instructions on-line somewhere??

Try googling 'the dog ate my sock', you may get some advise or instructions by reading some of the articles?

Look mate, you either want them or you don't. I've been messed around already with a time waster. If you think they won't fit then best to do your homework and ask someone who does know about these things as you obviously don't, iirc they are good for up to size 8 and a half.

They were bought for me about 6 Christmas' ago, so still practically brand new. They have become an unwanted gift as time has gone on so I do not have a receipt or proof of purchase. It's your loss mate!

still for sale due to time wasters

Free bump

I can vouch for these socks, eleven years and still going strong. Price definately fits description imho as those holes are very minor.

That's the kind of remark I've come expect on this forum. There was a time when real sports sock enthusiasts had something to really offer this forum community, bring back the good old days.

As for the other comments, thanks for free bump and positive feedback

Now open to offers, or what have you got considered.

Yours are in the post mate. I advise contacting your local post office to enquire their where abouts. It's out of my hands now, typical royal mail.....

This pair for sale are my back ups as I always like to keep a spare pair. Anyway I'm only wearing Terry Towelling socks these days hence the sale of the Ivan Lendl's.

Will they match white terry towelling socks?

This is the kind of look I'm trying to achieve.....

I've tried flip flops on their own in the past but it always ended badly

hope this gets sorted mate , i hate scammers. I am always wary of people selling used socks after a guy sold me two left hand socks. They were usless to me as i have both a left and a right foot. No refund but i opened a PayPal dispute and got my 50p back.

I will gladly refund once you send the socks back. Sometimes things take longer than expected for Royal mail to sort things. Apologies for the delay...

Mate, I've been selling socks longer than you've probably been wearing them. I'm well known on the forums for sorting people out with quality used cotton goods, specialising in white socks!! As I've only got a trader score of one, theres no need to lay into me due to bad experiences you've had in the past.

For every ten quality white goods salesmen out there there is always going to be one bad apple that tarnishes the "whitey sale" community. I cannot speak for for your left handed sock experience but I have heard of this scam happening.

If I were you i would pick your whitey seller more carefully. As you can see from some the positive comments above my used white products come recommended by many long standing customers.

Anyway, I'm not on here to wage a war, I'm just supplying descent goods where there is a demand in todays 'austerity' economical climate

Would you consider a part ex ?

Ive got some old underpants that i wouldn't mind getting shut of, the under carriage is a bit shot and they have a couple of stubborn marks that won't come out but other than that they are a decent pair of used underpants with a couple of months wear left in em.
