For a huge meet?

Hello to all members of SN Would anyone be up for a trundle down/across/up (whatever way it would be for you) to Southend?
I was thinking maybe when the weather gets a bit warmer and hopefully a bit dryer We could arrange a big get together and all decend on to Southend sea front We could meet up for a spot of lunch first at The Strawberryfields and then convoy down to the front and park up.
If we could get enough up and running I would of thought it would make a good chance for magazines to get snapping and get SN and its members in the public eye Would be good if we could arrange an escort from the pub/restaurant down to park along the front all together
Was looking for the spring time, one Saturday maybe in April. What do you all think?

I would just to add that I have called a couple of car mags (Fast Car and Practical Performance Car) and depending on when and how many etc, they would be interested

If anyone else can give me some other mag names and either web address's or contact names and numbers I will be happy to contact them

Also, how would Saturday 26th April be for this to happen?

If there was enough interest and arrange some dates i could bring SCCE lot with me so ill keep an eye on this thread ....

I was going to give this till the end of February to get an idea on who fancies it etc. Then it would be time to get back on to the mags and give them the details and see what they think

I was planning on asking Mark (scce) about this as the ESC do this run every month , ive been on this and they meet just outside basildon and then drive down to southend. Its usually a great meet so i sugest people contact Tiny in the ESC forum and see what he sugests .ITS A GREAT NIGHT AND WELL WORTH DOING ... so lets make a day of it . WAZ.

I mentioned before, I am looking at Saturday 26th April. I am giving it until the end of Feb before I will contact the 2 mags mentioned above as to see what the outcome is. They both sounded interested on the phone, but we need to make it worth everone's while

It wouldn't matter if it was near there night or not tbh. If the 26th is ok will a lot of people then the 26th it would be. There is some good interest from the Essex lot anyway
