Question

Which day(s) are people going?

I heard a rumour that on one of the August days a bunch were planning on attending.

Im going to a group B track evening at donnington so I was wondering if the Donno run ones have a different itenary. The Group B one is an open pitlane for 2.5 hours, which should just about get my Pirelli p-zero tyres to warm up.

Would the Donno run one be the same?

No, they are run in sessions of half an hour, unless it's a very poorly attended event, when they run an open pitlane. I belive the Group B Club have only 11 entrants, it may be possible to turn up and pay Friday evening. 01527-821150 Alan Eisner will know for sure.

A few of us are going on Aug 11th.
I believe all the evening sessions are run with an open pit-lane, as they are limited to 30 cars.
It only varies on full-day events.

Find details where?
Aug 10th is only an evening session, 11th a full day.
Mike R's hoping to come, Craig H, plus several other Scoobs.

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know what the deal is during the full day sessions. i.e.

#1. How long is the track open for? Is 100 pounds for a full day?

#2. Any 'no passengers' rules (like Brands)

#3. Any other rules? - are novice welcome?

Cheers

Matt.
1) How many sessions depends on how many cars turn up. Last time I was there, it was run in 2x30min sessions, and then in the afternoon it was an open pit lane so we got loads of track time. It's £100 for all their events, whether evening or full day.

2)You are allowed to take passengers.

3)Novices are welcome, as they try to group cars together according to experience, although this doesn't always work. I would say Donno is one of the better tracks for novices though.

Other than that, it's a great track and a great day out. There's usually a good mix of cars there too.
