Default The next Peak Tour will soon be here!

Sorry I couldn't make the meet at the weekend but the time wasn't wasted - me and Paul (Scooby66) were out and about doing yet another recce for you guys to enjoy the next tour

Some thoughts

It would mean giving up some of this but we could make this an early start drive so theres nothing on the road and you can all enjoy .................. the sun coming up

Perhaps have an early group and a later group and arrange a meet up somewhere.

Any thoughts??

Marv

I missed the last one as I was away but I saw video footage my mates shot. As for early, thats the best time of day, nice clear roads.

A Peak Dawn Tour is looking good then

Just think - no cars on the road to spoil us watching the sun come up

Watching the sun come up? I will be hiding at the back trying to;

a. Keep up
b. Find fourth gear

Every scooby run, fourth some how moves to the right....or is it I am excited?

7am . I'll join the "Lively" group again, as long as this time we can have a leader that can keep up with a 1.1 fiesta , and people following that can stop before they hit you

Default AN EARLY START IT IS THEN !!

Looks like an early start is favourite but for those who can't get up that early there will be a 'Late Starters' Group.

Heres the plan then:

Early Group meet up at 0800hrs - pleasant drive around the countryside stopping for breakfast at about 1000hrs, leisurely breakfast awaiting the arrival of the Late Group, then onto Stage 2

Late Group meet up at 1000hrs - drive to rendezvous point with Early Group, taking a more direct but still pleasant route, coffee, then join in with Stage 2 of the tour.

Date: Either 15 or 22 Aug (To Be Confirmed)

Funny that. Scott you seem to want to be in the lively group again though ! You can lead and navigate this time then and let me do the chasing (ooeeerrr!!)

As for the 1.1 Fiesta, I have nothing to say on the subject other than it was Jenson Button driving it

Looking forward to it

If I navigate m8 we will end up many, many miles from Derbyshire. Not a good idea.

Pete - you're more than welcome to join in m8

It's open to anyone (with an impreza of course!!) but I will need confirmation of numbers nearer the event so I can get enough colour maps and course notes prepared

1.1 Fiesta, 1.1 Fiesta mmmmmmmmmmm vaguely recollect the car but no Jenson Button

Marv, Have you got a starting location, date & time? I have a mate from Loughborough that would like to come too. It will be his first scooby event ever. Dont know what his driving is like but I watch him compete on his motorbike and he's pretty rapid .
