All of a sudden we have an outbreak of Scoobies around here , so was discussing this with ChrisP the other night, so how about a evening meet?
Pub with a decent size car park so we can have our own corner, drinkies and maybe a snack if you are hungry.
How about one night 2nd week of July somewhere in the Stoke area? I say Stoke as a rough guide, but 15 miles from here covers Congleton, Leek, Crewe, Stafford etc so plenty of locations.

Yep we need a good location that easy to get to from the north and south. I have a couple in mind and one allows kids/wackyware house jobby last time I was in, if anyone is bringing kids. If anyone has a good pub in mind then shout .
Criteria :
1) Must be easy to find so people dont get lost
2) Big car park is a must really
3) Serve meals/snack (no so important but nice)
4) Must be petrolhead tolerant
5) Kids friendly so people can drag the missus and sprogs out
Might try and get this a regular thing depending on how popular they are.
Someone is bound ask what happens on a meet. Its just a get together to chat about life, the world and scoobs . Any other marques are welcome, skylines, evos, lambos, ferrari, fiestas , we'll just play it by ear for the first one and see how it goes.
Hopefully try and get something sorted in next couple of weeks.
Just to add maybe good to move it around the region each time to allow people long and short distances to travel just to be fair to everyone.
Cheers

At the moment my number one is the Darlaston Inn on the A34 between Trentham and Stone (the one in centre of the roundabout). It has a wacky warehouse for the kids, serves meals and has a big car park. Really easy to find and in between Junctions 15 and 16 of the M6.
Dont know what other people think ?

If you click the map it shows the circle just below the big roundabout. The map isnt quite right the pub is actually in the centre of the roundabout and access is off the roundabout BUT only when going North ie. from Stone towards Trentham. The only downside is the A34 is plagued with speed cameras in both directions so becareful guys.

sounds good to us , it's not too far from Cannock, both me and Jill will be up for it, the only problem is my daughter wants to come, not for the Wacky Warehouse, but to bring her Mini Cooper (classic not BMW).
cheers Steve

Its okay mate you can come personal invite from me , I think shes working anyway. Not been on the new MLR site and they seems some faces I know and some asking about buying an E5 or E6 . I must say I went to have a look at an E7 recently and was really tempted .
