Popped down to Brands on Monday with a few of the guys and girls from South East Scoobies for a track evening.

Had a brilliant evening, even if the monsoon conditions at the start of the evening did mean it was a VERY wet track to start, but dried out eventually.

The drivers side air intake was a last minute bodge job as I didn't want to drill a hoe for the towing eye in my Chargespeed intake, so I made my own using a standard fog cover. (Wasn't going on track without a towing eye fitted, as if you need recovering they'll just put a rope/chain around the front of the car and drag it if there is no eye fitted)

Track days are so much cheaper in the wet.
Did you run Sessantas?
Did a very wet one at Brands in the wife's MR2 a while back - plenty of bangs per buck and plenty of fun.

Yeah still on the Vredesteins, worked well in wet, damp and dry.

Track was very greasy though, lot more spins that I've seen before, and mine was suffering from understeer a few times.

Had a great time, only slight niggle was I overheated the pads, but they were fine after I'd let them cool off for 25 mins.
