Default New car :D

Saw this on ebay last night, went to see it tonight and deposit is down, picking it up saturday morning. Only the picture which was the one on ebay, will be more when ive got it home.
Its a 1996 wrx import, only 62,000 miles, very genuine straight car

Saw this yesterday I think. Me to thought it looked a genuine motor. It even looks good with the little spoiler. Enjoy.

Just got it home this morning, didn't relise how much quicker it seemed then the uk turbo. Not sure what the plans are for it yet but here are a few more pics. Rear arches completely rust free aswell
The bonnet needs respraying and front bumper and that's it really.
Ohlins suspension
Revolution millenniums with nearly new toyo proxes
H&S Centre section exhaust, sti backbox.

nice my mate had one of these 277 bhp was quicker than my maped uk turbo at 268 bhp.

Decided im going to sell the uk turbo and start the modding on the wrx

Been mainly tidying up under the bonnet so far, respraying a few rusty brackets, also roger clark oil cap, sti strut brace and k&n panel filter.

Will use this thread to show what Ill be doing to the car, now fitted jap import number plates, cat back Hayward and scott system and sti rear lights.

Also a picture of the suspension, cant seem to buy it anywhere on the internet so im thinking it may be quite expensive.

Fog light covers trial fitted, going to be sprayed though along with front bumper, bonnet, grill and side skirts.

Skirts and rear bumper skirts sprayed now, also new alloy radiator got delivered, set of lightweight scoobyclinic pulleys and mudflaps, all will be fitted soon along with removing air con.

what about de-tango the side lights.

Yeah front bumper and bonnet, and yeah clear side repeaters and bumper indicators, also need to get a clutch done somewhere aswell.

It is really nice to see someone buying an old car and then putting so much into it. Too many of these cars - which are good and honest motors - are being broken at the moment.

When I get the chance I hope to do likewise.

Now fitted mudflaps, wasn't sure at first but they've definitely grown on me. Car is going to the bodyshop on Wednesday so hopefully start of next week ill get it back and more pictures will be added, also got my clutch coming tomorrow.

car now with fresh paint and happy with the way it looks apart from it needs detangoing!!
