Default Got my wheels back :-)

Got my wheels back today after being stripped and carbon dipped, Had my tyre guy on standby

Still got the BBS`s and they are going nowhere, Will get them refurbed when funds allow, Had it standard looking for nearly 2 years now, Decided it was time for a change, The new look for 2013

Need to take some proper pics but you get the idea...and thanks Dave-W

Info;

They guys at Wicked Coatings did them for me, They were sent 2 sets of wheels to dip but it was arranged by someone else on my behalf, I paid around £300 all in but i believe that was with a bit of a discount.....Now bearing in mind if you need a set of 18" rims stripping/painting/powder coating etc... Thats going to be around the £200 mark so for the extra i thought i`d give it a try...

Just have to hope they look good for a while yet, All i could see happening is the laquer having a few stone chips which is a pretty easy repair anyway...In theory.

One in the daylight,

Look nice, was going to get wicked coatings to do mine last year, but after the group buy I tried to get going fell flat on its face, I never bothered. After seeing yours I think I'll be getting mine done this year now

What nuts are you using btw?

I`m sure there will be a lot more interested, another car i know is having them too, The nuts are genuine RAYS mate.

Its the closest i could get to an original, Its actually a Megan Racing S202 replica...Cant bring myself to pay £1200 for an original, I did get offer of a 2nd hand genuine s202 but never got any pics after requesting them a couple of times i gave up on it, Still looks the part anyway.

have you used anything to clean/seal the alloys gaz.
i assume the coating is a clear laquer painted over the carbon dip.
they really suit the car much better than gold as you can see the calipers better
