It really does, there was a silver hatch in the 2008 STI brochure with gold rims, looked epic, always planned to have a gold/silver winter set up if I ever got round to finding some JDM BBS.

Hey Romford Boy - that's crystal grey not silver
Same colour as mine mate - love it, much more subtle than my last WR blue which just attracted all the wrong sort of attention!

doesnt really go imo , had gold on mine for a few months and it looked odd

Yeah I reckon you're about right there Rich, although maybe a dark bronze would look good with crystal grey cars...
I think the gunmetal you did mine in makes for a nice contrast, but then I'm biased

I use the gold OEM rims as my track wheels, but painted my other set gloss black

I think darker wheels work better with silver cars, don't think silver and gold work except on jewelry
