Sorry, but that looks hideous, that bonnet and bumper just cheapen the car

Not a fan of the front bumper, especially with the number plate the way it is, sort that out and it would look a lot better. And I hope the cheapo car wash remark was a joke, if not why would you take a 09 plate car through a car wash?! It'll ruin it instantly paintwork wise!

Everybody makes mistakes, just bite the bullet and put it back to standard.

Bumper, scoop and alloys don't work with that car but if that's what you like that's all that matters.

an STI bugeye scoop would look better , without the mesh too. Front end is OK apart from the number plate (which is an easy fix)

To be fair the guy is only trying to make the car look different to standard which is no bad thing IMO as in standard trim they are bloody awful looks wise!

wow, people are a bit harsh in here aint they!
give the guy a break, if he likes it then fair play, i dont think it looks too bad, better than looking like a rover 25 which they do in standard form!

Its all well and good saying he's making it different, and they look horrible as standard...

...why buy it in the first place?! Plenty of other options out there these days with the same power, spec if not better tbh for the same price! So if it's being changed to look different, I can't see why it was bought originally.

same as anything you buy with the intention to change it to suit yourself. Like buying a house and redecorating , extension etc.

Maybe he liked the way they are standard but wanted to personalise it, like most people who mod their cars.

Often thought if you haven't got something positive to say then dont bother! Feel good be faceless critic on something this guy is obviously proud of? Put some pics of your cars up and we can all take a spin at ripping in to your pride and joy!

I think it's not too far away from looking great - I don't like the bumper and bonnet - they are a bit too Need for Speed Underground, but I DO like the idea of as blobeye scoop but without the mesh.

More sensible bumper and bonnet, lose the mesh, keep the wheels and wing IMHO

I don't think anyone is being particularly offensive, by posting up pictures of your car on a forum your automatically asking for peoples views and have to be ready to take the good and the bad, from the comments people have basically said sort out the plate (which no one can deny doesn't need doing) and that was about it. Others have said they're not keen on the kit - but no one has really laid into the car from what I can make out?!
