Cool Finally fitted my JM Carbon Fibre Hawkeye Splitter

Few holes to be drilled and a bit fiddly to do without having a ramp but all went well in the end. Excuse the dirty car btw!

What do you think ??

Spot on bodski! I presume this is the car advertised on here that you bought a few weeks ago? The Jdm model?

How are you getting on with it? I still haven't drove one yet. How does it compare to the classic?

Yeah It's Peter A's old car mate.

Loving the twin scroll at present. So much more drivable than my old Blob. This one may well be 60Bhp down but as a everyday driver it feels quicker maybe 70% of the time. It's only at the top of the rev range where it looses out to the 321T combination on my old car.

Never had a classic mate. Only driven a friends RA for a few months so difficult to compare tbh

Standard ride height Ian. No plans to change it tbh. I have to go up a pretty step ramp to get in and out of work. I had to remove the splitter on the blob after fitting coilovers.

Wheels will eventually get changed. Got the wedding to pay for so can't go taking the p1ss and spending **** loads on the car at present

See your spending already Boyd lol.
Looks spot on, would love one in carbon, but it would just get destroyed as mine is pretty low, damaged repaired mine twice and that's plastic.
Careful with that front plate size too, boys in blue don't like them I had lucky escape with mine a while ago, back to full size....shame as I liked the small one.

First purchase (except for the gearknob and front droplinks that is)

Got a full size plate in the boot just in case

Keeping the standard ride height for the moment so I'm pretty sure the splitter will survive. As I said to Ian I have to go up quite a steep ramp getting in and out of work and was sh1tting it first time I drove in after fitting the splitter
clears with about 40mm to spare

Well you done all the major mods on your last one, so truley have the t-shirt to show for it. I recon simple is best and carry on doing what you are small tasteful mods.
You think you can get off a ticket by having the full size plate in the boot?, wont they just say why didnt you fit it to begin with? I only scrapped through last time as the guy liked the car, much prefer the smaller 3/4 plate.

Yeah this one's not going the same way as the last one! (Remember me saying that to you seven years ago about the blob) lol.

My plan is is if the plod stops me is to say I bought the car with the small plate on and I'd just been and got the larger plate but not had time to fit it

Change of wheels and that's pretty much going to be it for this one
