Frayz's "Speedtacular" Goodwood Festival of Speed

Thought id share some of my snaps from Saturdays Goodwood Festival of Speed. I go every year and never tire of experiencing the sights and sounds these amazing cars and bikes.
Nice to see some old favourites, some of which i had to get some pics of myself with, inc Rod Millens 1000+bhp Pikes Peak Toyota Tacoma, the Ari Vatenen driven Pikes Peak Pug 405, Ferrari 250 GTO and My fav rally car of all time, The E2 Audi Sport Quattro S1!

Truly my favourite motoring event of the year.

Lol, didnt have much chice mate, although if im gonna be killed by a car, a Zakspeed capri aint a bad way to go.

Such a tough choice, the F1 cars are truely amazing with the screaming RPMs, the ferrari being the one that actually hurt my ears.

The Zonda R was amazing too sounding almost F1 noise in a road car.

The Group B E2 S1 will alway tugg at my heart strings with that savage on boost rip that only the 5 cylinder motor can make. The RS500 sounded so sweet too with the typical Cosworth warble and chirp.

Truth be told i absolutely adore them all, i had goosebumps all day but none of them could really compete with the pair of Tornado GR4s that were doing fast air low passes over us on full reheat.

Certainly an emotional and amazing day as it is every year, and ill continue to go every year for as long as i can

its the best car show i have ever been too.
did you see jessie james off roader going up the hill??

Is the ari v t16 the famous pike peak monster ?
I love the old group b audis noise really when Motorsport was at its peak imho

Nice pix Frayz.

One of the best events to attend.

Seeing those old Silk Cut Jags bring back some good memories, I spent the 5 days at Le Mans with that team in 87.
