My new toy
So,
She who must be obeyed, said I could get a track / hill climb car, so after much looking about, I've bought a Scooby!
For some reason I cannot upload pictures otherwise I would!
It's a 2002 original Prodrive WTX STI. It's had a few tweaks, dumps, gizmo, racing clutch, and the charts show about 320hp.
I'm thinking about doing a few other tweaks to her (are they girls or...??):
It's got blackened 17" wheels, and i'd like to look at 18"...advice on this would be appreciated!
Launch control, I want something that will not SCREW everything!!
As the car's going to be on the track in various disciplines, I think it deserves the time correct WRC Subaru decals...thoughts?
Roll cage, don't really want to, but maybe there's one that's not too bulky? It'll be a shame, the rear of the car doesn't appear to have been sat in!
Tyres. I have to run on road legal tyres to comply with the racing regs, and I would like some suggestions please.
Guages. I would like to add oil pressure / temperature and boost. I like the looks and features of the Swoosh ones.
Harness. The car has the original STI bucket seats. Advice on harnesses would be good!
If anyone's got any bits from the above they want to sell me, then drop me a line!
