02 STI PPP UK - now in Austria
Hi mates,
~1 year ago I bought my blue STI near Leeds form Wayne (rapid.STI, also see:https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...d-austria.html)
After "donating" a small amount of money to the Austrian tax authorities (you have to pay a tax depending on CO2 emissions and fuel consumption when importing a car), passing all technical tests I registered her ~ 1 year ago in Austria.
Only had to do small repairs, brakes, front subframe, but had no major issues. I have a lt of fun, especially at the moment as we have quite a lot of snow over here. We got 10-20 inches for several times this winter.
See some pics of a trip last summer to northern Italy. I will add some snow pics soon.

Changed to the Standard STI exhaust for the registration. Registaration really wasn't an issue except 1 wheel bearing, modifying the rear fog lights (we need here 1 on the left side or on both sides) and the headlights.
Modifying the headlights is quite simple and cheap (159 USD), and 1 hour of heating the headlight in the oven, dis-assembling the headlight, changing the shield and re-aassembling see:
