900 Miles, A bug Sti, 2 men & Austria
Hello guys, as some may no i went to austria to deliver my bug sti to it's new owner
I set off wednesday 5pm to get the ferry...the ferry left at 9pm..
we arrived n rotterdam 9.30am thursday morning. So off we went on our journey down through the netherlands, We had to get down just past the german border were we had to stop off at the tire shop to have the winter tires fitted..
While waiting on them fitting the tires we were smoking a *** outside when i looked down to find these
Finally we had the tires fitted to the standard alloys. (Nokian wr2) So we then set off through germany down to austria. The weather was not the best, it was slinging it down with rain. This still did not faise the german drivers on the Autobahn some of them are pure ruthless
Anyway we finally arrive at the german/austria border. We knew we didnt have far to go as the sat nav said 68 miles left. it was all mountain road from here on
So we finally arrived in axams at 9.15pm Thursday night. All i can say is wow!! what a lovely place it was. Stayed till sunday which we had to get to munich to catch our 21.00 flight back to the uk. Chris took us to the airport in his Audi S4. My old man picked us up from manchester.
So heres the pictures, Enjoy
I have plenty more pictures and will add some more when i get them uploaded. Enjoy

Nice example of Scoob and great "Osterreicher landschaft"!
So you were selling from the UK? Did more than you expected to get here? Did the buyer just come across the car on Autotrader?

Hi,
I'm the proud new owner of Wayne's STI PPP. I did not only get a new car, even more important I got new friends!! (Thanks for the delivery again)
My girlfriend Franziska and me we were really enjoying Wayne's and Ben's stay over here. Had some exciting, funny and relaxing days together.
We definitely meet again and we will go to England with my STI for holidays. (and to the Nürburgring as well, together with Wayne and Ben)
I'll do the registration in Austria within the next weeks and will keep you updated (incl. pics)
Chris

Those bullet shells were 9mm blanks and were probably left over from new year celebrations and nothing to worry about, it is common here to fire off mags of blanks
The firework displays go on for hours aswell
