Sorry pal, but those flaps look quite nasty IMHO. I think the original type ones, look the best.

Default Mud flaps mmmm!

I also like a nice set of flaps! If ya gunna put some on put the originals or as near as possible on, not the hard carbon ones they don't look right! Performance creations do the best for value and look like the originals with all the fixings, a deffo thumbs up for them.

To be honest I bet nobody would even notice the carbon look unless they bent down, but definately get some flaps on to help protect your car

Yes to mud flaps for sure. I have some fitted but not original ones, still trying to decide weather to go with original or carbon to match my carbon splitter and Carson rear window spoiler.

Don't bother with the carbon ones. IMO they look a bit crap.

Better to just get the normal black ones.

I hate flaps binned mine after the body shop told me they had caused corrosion on mine by holding the road grime & moisture against the paintwork. Prefer the more sleek look & it doesn't seem to get much dirtier, but it's all down to personal preference. Most seem to love em.

This seems absurd, as it totally defeats the objective of the flaps. I think your bodyshop was telling you porkies. The mudflaps only come into contact with the rim of the arches. My car has had flaps on since day one and that's seven years. No sign of corrosion at all.

I voted yes to flaps but not sure on the ones you have shown.

I have these on mine if your wanting carbon. These were from carbon mods and are the mini ones as, and its my personal opinion, I dont like the look of the larger flaps but thats just me!!

You have to make your own holes but can easily match them up to the ones on the car. I think they look just right.

Yes the corrosion started there on the front wings & started to creep further across. The body shop reckoned the flaps started it off, but who knows. The car is corrosion free everywhere else so he may of had a point. All I know is my body work is mint now & I won't put the flaps back on, but If others like them & don't have the same problem then good luck.

Does seem strange that? Did you have to drill the holes or use the ones their? Also how did you fit them? As if the body was drilled or paint chipped then can see why it started to rust from there specially as its a very wet/mucky place at times. Still glad all sorted now!

Flaps were on when I bought the car so I'm not sure. They may have been fitted badly causing the problem, but they looked OK to start with. After a few months I noticed bobbling around the F flaps, when it started to get worse I had it in the body shop before it was beyond repair.
