Default My STI V3 is finally finished...

Well I've had the car for 18 months now and it's now finally finished. Been a long and expensive process but well worth it I reckon.

Here's the spec -

Wheels and tyres-
18" Ultralites in matt black with eagle F1's 225/40 18
Ultralites wheel nuts
Pink STI valve caps

Brakes-
Porsche 6 pot calipers
AP racing 360mm discs
Goodridge hoses all round
Tarrox pads
Standard rear calipers
Black panther discs
Black diamond pads

Exterior-
Black crystal headlights and sides
Crystal indicators
Clear side repeaters
JUN style front splitter
Custom meshed grill with newage STI badge
DE-spoilered
Tinted rear windows
Tear drop style mirrors

Exhaust-
Complete 3" Tornado system
De-catted with open neck downpipe
Laterals GT-spec stainless manifold and up pipe
Manifold fully heat wrapped

Suspension-
Fully adjustable AST setup
Whiteline goodies throughout
Many polybushes throughout
STI front strut brace
Anti lift kit
Powerstation bump steer mod

Interior-
Cusco 6 point bolt in cage
Apexi AVCR
Prosport gauge setup in custom pod
AL + LC switches
Nardi deep dish suede wheel
Lockwood heater surround
Turbo timer
Knock link custom fitted into speedo
Willams 3 point harnesses

Gearbox-
Low mileage P1 gearbox
Fidanza lightend flywheel
Helix organic clutch

Engine-
JDM STI V9 spec C bottom end
Reworked V3 heads
RCM 550 injectors
Adjustable FPR
HKS front mount and hard pipes (hot side wrapped)
Huge green stuff cone filter with custom hard pipes
AF TD05 20G
Motec M48 pro fully unlocked
Samco hoses
Uprated leads and plugs
Lightweight battery
Carbon cooling panel
HKS catch can
Walbro fuel pump
Carbon fuse box cover
Aluminum oil cap
Mapped with VPower and 20% methonal

Just serviced including gearbox oil and diff oil. Also just had a full geo setup by Paul at ZEN.

Only ever worked on by Paul himself or Richard. Both fantastic guys and Paul's mapping skills are the best around.

Probably a few more bits but that's all I can think of at the minute. Here's a few pics, any comments welcome.

That looks lovely mate, i like how you have brightened up the inside as pre facelift tend to look tired and very dated but i am liking this one great spec too but aint the P1 gearbox out of it's comfort zone at that sort of power?

Yep very happy with the interior, was going to stick a facelift dash in but pleased I didn't.
As for the box, yep pretty much as far as it will go. Just need to be a little considerate and it will hopefully stay in one piece. Have heard of some taking near 500 for almost a year so we'll see how we go.
If it does decide to sh*t itself then 6 speed but I'll cross that bridge when/if I come to it.

Didn't need wheel spacers buddy, fitted straight over. Had Speedline Turini's on before which were an even tighter fit

Methanol is a great idea. Don't really know why more people don't use it as its very easy to get on with once your all set up.
With a 20% mix you can see up to about 10% bhp gain and lots more torque.
Car feels so much better on methanol.

Not going to for now mate,I think it was the eye opener I needed and advice from yourself helped make the decision as well.
I may reconsider in the new year but for now she is staying put[especially as I've just brought some of thoses arch extensions]

Good decision my friend. Trust me, when the sunshine is back in the sky flickering off your 'average' paintwork you'll be glad you kept her. It's a lovely looking motor Ryan which unfortunately are few and far between now. So many classics get ruined with 'chav' style mods these days, its nice to see a car like yours.
I'd be very interested to see it with arch extensions, was something that crossed my mind but never had the ***** to go through with it.
