Default first time mods

good morning scooby fans,

im looking to do some mods to my 51 plate bug eye wrx, im just after some advice as to some starter mods for a bit more power anyone god any hints or know where i should start?

as cheap as possible to start with jus minor mods untill i can afford a remap

Get a decent panel filter into the standard airbox. K&n is one of the better ones. Also a cat back exhaust would help.

ive got a 52plate bug wrx, turbo back decat / walbro fuel pump / K&N panel filter plus a remap saw me 280bhp/285lbs a complete different car.

you can get a walbro 255 for around £70 easy to fit, panel filter will set you back around £30-£40 for a decent one.
as for exhaust you could probably pick up a good second hand one for around £200-£350 again easy to fit yourself.

then a remap 2 options ecutek which will be around the £500 as you have to buy the licence or you can go open source which is a little cheaper and possibly come in around the £300 ish mark however make sure you use a recommended well known mapper from here do some searching loads of info

new panel filter and uprated fuel pump am i gonna be looking at any performance increase? or not noticable untill a remap?

No mate,from this alone you never see any benefit.
Exhaust and up pipe will give you power what you are looking.

About the remap,really depend where are you located,because some mappers are mobile,some no and best for money remap is open source,cheapest cost £225.
