Smile Show me your 300bhp+ classics

I'm looking for inspirational ideas for a possible project on my classic wagon STi, or an acquisition of a classic with mods carried out... so, post 'em up

Cheers

Oh Yes indeedy lol!

they do stop very well, but i find that you need to keep the brakes warm to make the most of them.

i will be honest and say that it hasn't came cheap.... lol!

But i think it's worth it.

i know the white bonnet isn't too everyones taste, but it has grown on be hence i haven't had it sprayed for the 8 months it's been on there! lol

Well, I wasn't going to mention the bonnet, it does look a little strange but easily overlooked and if you're happy eith it then that's all that matters.

You say it's cost a bit - if you were to do it all over again would you, or would you do anything differently?

That's a nice wagon mate, in the best colour too not that I'm biased. Lol

Are you running the standard turbo 2000 gearbox with that much power? Always thought they would blow over 300?

Yup i'm still running the standard TY54 turbo 200 gearbox... harvey smith has had some big power out of these boxes.

my gearbox does get treated well, so i will let it have it until it self destructs!!

With regards too cost, i'm sure any subaru owner will tell you! it is definately worth the outlay, and i wouldn't change anything!!
