My work is done - respray imminent
After a few months graft I have just about go the car were I want it to be prior to the respray. Some individual touches include the meshed front bumper and home made sideskirts. I've also fitted the roof vent.
Sat in the garage waiting to go on is a RA light-weight and tinted rear screen with a small carbon lip spoiler to be bonded onto it, and I'm awaiting the delivery of the last few anodised bolts for the spoiler and exhaust heat shield.
Just awaiting the final quote for the respray of Prodriverules (tomorrow all being well) and then schedule a time to layer up some special (but not chavvy) paint once his quote and my savings meet up
I did have the square plate fitted over the passenger side vent, but I'm not so sure now and need some inspiration for the front number plate

Some serious prep time their sir well done. You will notice the difference once painted all those hours, sores, blisters and next day pains will be worth it.
Some nice touched too, Spoiler suits the car well, blob rear lights make the back end look better IMO. The carbon lip spoiler is that a scoobyworld jobbie as think il be getting one in a few months time also.
Still looking good bet you cant wait to get it all shiny once more!

have to say nice work jon, i love the s202 style wing
and are you painting same colour or diffrent?
oh and im also loving and wanting to do the roor vent as well, i have looked at the guide for fitting it, did you follow that or get someone else to do it? was it worrying cutting the roof?? and on a scale of 1-10 one being easy and ten being very tricky what would you say it was?

I used Frayz roof vent and also did Martin850's after doing mine. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it about 2, but then again I have been trained in battle-damage repair on aircraft so it's quite difficult to put your perspective on it

Respray quote is in, not cheap but it will be special. Agreed that all of the plastic trim, mirror base plates, splitter etc would be done in black too as the carbon wrap idea wouldn't look brill against the real carbon bits that are on the car.
Should go in in about 5-6 weeks all being okay work wise, and then get it back a couple of weeks later
Only problem with not getting it in sooner is I'm still having ideas
