Default MY06 Spec C Type 20 5 years on

Five years have gone by already and it’s never missed a beat. I had to replace the AA sized battery a few years ago, but that’s it.

I gave it a bit of a clean up, not that it was that bad to start with. J

What an absolute beauty!

Shame about the ding in the TMIC

Joking of course - seems to be the teeniest imperfection in an otherwise perfect car

LOL, I bought a special tool made to straighten out radiator/intercooler fins. I made something that wasn't that bad worse. I did that about 3 years ago and haven't touched it again; cocked it up once.

It sees rain now and again, but not much mud.

As I never had it undersealed from new, it's makes it far easier to keep clean under the arches etc.

Stunning work there Kev that looks brilliant.....

Wheel arches looks fantastic as you say the lack of protection helps you no end to keep the standards up especially with no winter driving.

Simply immaculate Robocop! Very very well kept indeed.

I have a Spec C as well and am contemplating if i should stoneguard the archs. I don't want to, but am afraid of chips from stones, debris. If all you did is just clean the archs regularly then i'm dropping the whole stoneguarding idea. Your archs look cleaner than new mate!

By the way, how do you get away with no mudflaps?
