Default Very Clean Catalunya 122

Had the day off yesterday, so spent the day cleaning and detailing our cars.. heres a few of mine, and a few reflections of mine from his lol...

I decided the engine bay needed cleaning more than anything so spent the first few hours taking bits off, rubbing them down, and either hammeriting them, or spraying them black... all came out really nice.

But now on the look out on Ebay for some original clips, pipes and brackets etc... as there are lots of bits that dont look up to scratch...

Used about 5 different stages of cleaning including claying, sponges, 3 different shampoos a pre wax cleanser and a final wax.. no bad for 14 year old paint..

didnt get any decent ones of the interior as it got too dark..

these are the days efforts..

relection of his, from my car door.. love it

Yeah I wasn’t 100% sure when I got it, I did want the originals, but its grown on me, I think it compliments the splitter quite nicely, and keeps it aggressive at the front.

Cheers mate

Hahaha, thanks pal.

Yeah I do usually get bored, but I haven’t given her a proper detail since before xmas so it was well over due, the amount of **** on the clay bar was stupid….

And as far as the under engine goes, I only really wanted to take the pulley cover off, but once I saw what a difference that made, I went to town taking off the inlet manifold, intercooler etc, even ended up taking a couple of the bottles and tanks out, put them in the dishwasher along with the lids, came out a treat…

The only thing that’s bugging me about the engine bay at the moment is the radiator area, and the pulleys…
