Default Transformation after deciding to keep it Before and after pics!!

You may remember my post from where i were selling up to put it back to standard but after dealing with an array of timewasters i decided to keep the car and make it even better than before.
I sold my Roger clark team ice system but another is on its way fitted the japspeed system for now brand new so will be up for grabs soon.
Also purchased same wheels as before but went for white instead of my previous gunmetal, ive got a new set of plain mudflaps in blue on their way a new steering wheel, a new strut brace fitted again genuine JDM.
Even fitted an original front bumper and had it all repainted and chopped for my front mount. chopped the zunsport grill too so it wouldnt foul the fmic
even had the splitter repainted bumper and splitter oven baked
A new carbon rear roof spoiler is also on its way to me which i will have the ends painted, also on their way some perrin shifter bushes, and on the look out for some new coilovers and also ordered a new 3 port boost solenoid so will be all back to the way it was before but even better and looks stunning in my opinion and couldnt understand why it didnt sell for 10k for a 2003 STI V-Limited running 360/360

Before pics with old wheels and front bumper

Opinions on the after pics please the white wheels might not be to everyones taste but i fancied a change from gunmetal,. which do you prefer? the Before WRC replica front bumper or the original one that is on it now.
I personally love the new look and was so so close to selling my pride and joy or sending it back to the finance company but so glad i kept it,.
If you get bored of these cars the beauty is you can change the look so many ways
Pics after taken at the park

Looks very nice, must admit though that was one of the few after-market front bumpers that I liked

Just want to get some better rubber on the tyres the alloys came with 215 35 18 rubber and want to swap it over to 225 40 18 and find some decent coilovers and thinking of some perrin stiffis for the spoiler

Prefer the standard bumper, seen your wrc bumper on tyrones car and its a shame that it isnt a carbon fibre original but fibreglass. Tut tut.

Rich, to be honest I like the bumper as it gives the car a different look and if it were carbon fibre it would cost a lot more than Rick paid for it. The fitment and alignment is good unlike some replica bumpers that I have seen.

I could have probably picked up a damaged WRC bumper quite easily through a couple of contacts that I have, but it would have needed major alteration to fit a car with standard wings, or I could have fitted a WRC body kit - but we won't go down that road.

I'm not disappointed and as I own the car I think that is what matters most.

Ty I was lead to believe that it was an original carbon item, if I was to knock your car I wouldn't do it in here.
there's nothing not to like about it. Hope I haven't upset you.

Glad you like it Ads I nearly got rid of the car because of insurance and fuel costs. But just couldn't do it.
I'm going to remove the LPG in the summer as it's economical but not for the driving I do.
I really like the new look of my car and it has inspired me to keep it due to it's rarity and can only increase in value in years to come if It stays with low mileage as I only do about 5000 a year if that in the Subaru

Im confused, I was told that this bumper was an origional wrc bumper imported in from Japan, and on the thread where its fitted you state that it is an origional and "as far as you know" the only one in the country. I expressed an interest in this bumper but decided against it as I could buy a replica from HT Autos for £295. I cannot find the origional thread (it appears to have been removed).

No my bumper was the original of one of only that was available in this country and i allowed Mark at HT Autos to have my car at his workshop so he could take a splash as he explains it which is a moulding of my front bumper so that it would be available to you guys for around £300 give Mark a call who will confirm this and is a great guy he even took mouldings of my rear bumper spats.
Cannon fodder now has my original which was imported from Japan at a high expense.

Cannon fodder now has my original which was imported from Japan at a high expense.which cost a great deal than £300 yet not quite how much a real carbon fibre one would be off an original WRC car,. its an origianl wrc replica front bumper imported from Japan and the one at HT Autos is a moulding of it that Mark took from my car. give him a call hes a great guy and the moulding came off very well comes in primer ready to paint and far less money at £295 than what the original replica one cost me.
ps you wont find the original for sale thread as it was under the car parts for sale section and i am now keeping the car and not selling any more parts so the original thread is no longer needed.
