Default B3's rebuild start

this is a few piccys of my cats rebuild and will add more as she comes on !
fisrt inlet freshly powdercoated
then the 2.1 stroker when i pick it up next week

blocks back placed inlet on top too see what it looked like amd bench tested the depo racing gauge vid included

did a bit more i am no mechcanic lol
tyred rebuilding the engine but i have forgoton where bit go and how the loom went ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!

right engines in fmic done sti brakes on 17" rota on just front bumper to do and clean then first voyage

Looking good mate, is it an enginetuner stroker kit seen as you are that part of the world? I'll be looking to get a 2.1 in the not too distant future. Is it running and how are you finding it?

on 1st startup i i was bricking it bur primed the engine and when fired it jumped into life woohooo but last night found my freshly wraped headers have a split in them :-(
and still doing the bumper so hopefully very soon

i striped everything myself on my own but thanks to a others scooby drivers we fitted it back in our selfs with the help of a crane

right all engines is in have done 140 miles today running sweet as a nut even after the 50 mile oil change she started to pull even more but i am limited to 4k and no more than 0.03 boost but i am keeping the revs lower just for a bit more to help her ,
also fitted the sti brembos and blead the brakes with some ate blue brake fluid .

right new pics in my profile folder thing had a couple of remaps 1 st time was due to a boost leak but still made 305 bhp.
with leak fixed it made 314 bhp and 325 lbf
just need bigger turbo and injectors and gearbox

well power wise mj said its turbo and inj are on there limits so i will have to live with the 314 bhp and 325 lbf
its a open deck as i dont really have the need to break the 400 bhp what shes at is more than enough tbh quick when needed and also nice to drive when kids and that are in car at normall speeds
i am lucky to have some handy mates also mainly frank and james as they were total legens when the rebuild happend

right been up to a fair few things on the old girl but the things fresh in my mind .
found a oe cat low spoiler
made and fitted custom intake temps gauges temp in and after fmic
brakes front and rear 326mm front and 290 mm rear

Take it the shiney newproduct from SC is a turbo, which one have you gone for. Im from St Austell and have seen your car around and about. Looking good.

Update I have changed a few things 422 Bhp on pump fuel just have to sort out swirl pot and few other things then can have a meth map again
