My Series McRae #001
Hi all,I bought #001 Series McRae middle of the year and its been a big restoration project,I have seen on here this car was for sale in about 2001 for nearly the same amount as its cost me to restore it
I hope its all gonna be worth it,hope you like the pics
Sills were a little shot
Step in my life saving car restorer
Rear quarters behind the bumpers had to be replaced
The list of bodywork on this was was endless but the repairs my welder did were faultless,he cut all the rust areas out and replaced them
The car prepared for paint
Top quality paint job done
The work goes on under the car, changing rusty parts, there are loads more pictures on the Series Mcrae owners club these are just a chosen few
I'm ready for the replies

Awesome mate Nice to see someone doing things right. It looks like you have a good beater and painter there. I'd hold onto them, too many 'that'll do' men these days.
Are you keeping it 100% std?
