Talking Your Subaru's Past and Present

As the title says, just subaru's, from the humble Justy to the large Legacy, post them up

My first one, picked her up with 7 miles on the clock nicely modified, defi's, PD7's in antracite, door protectors, a/c, PPP, uprated brembo brakes with AP discs (308mm) and mintex 1144 pads, doesnt seem to be with us any longer as cant find the info on the dvla website she was a lovely low mileage example, less than 44k when she sold 2 years back.
http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/u...8/DSC00211.jpg

My First Spec C and one of the first twin scroll's in the country, great car and still about with low(ish) miles on (34k at the last count earlier this year)
http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/u...B2004-0059.jpg

My Version 5 Type R "project", still only has 31k on the clock

And my latest Spec C

My one and only scoob, bought Mar 2006 as a replacements for a mildly tuned V6 cavalier, never realised just how addictive turbos could be. Currently just over 50k on the clock and is a work horse as well as a toy and is currently being prepped for a respray and a bit of a general tidy up.

I'll keep it for another year or 2, finish what I want to do and then move on, probably to an Audi RS4

my first Subaru, the RB5 (#286) non-PPP , bought as 2nd owner with 15k on the clock, which ended up with a spec list too long to mention lol

My 2nd was the Crystal Grey Hawkeye, brand new with PPP, unfortunately a bus caused its early demise at around 6k miles on the clock

Insurance paid out on an Urban Grey Hawkeye which I heavily spec'd up with Subaru goodies

My 4th and current, which I totally love and is easily the best one, the STi PPP Hatch

My first was a Wagon which i purchased about a year and a half ago for £1300, wasn't in the tidiest of conditions but i was just looking for something so i could see what the fuss was about and it was fairly easy to get the baby stuff in with shopping aswell.

In July after selling my house i decided to upgrade and try and find myself a bugeye, took a while as i was looking for something specific and eventualy i bought an 01 bug which had the modifications i was looking for, this is my current car but it doesn't get used that often as i have a corsa for the daily commute.

Here's my three cars

To be honest I really regret selling the S202 but the Spec C is a worthy replacement.

nice. Well I started with an old '92 legacy turbo wagon. had it for about 6 months or so until it had a disagreement with a hedge. Got it for £280 on ebay.

then went back to Saab for a bit while I waited for a replacement for the legacy. Eventually found a lovely GT-B Limited twin turbo for bargain money, although the milage was high and there was some rust on the rear arches:

After some engine trouble following a Head Gasket replacement, I gave up on it and replaced it with a standard GT-B, but that too blew it's head gaskets. The engine from the LTD is now in this one:

It's only a pity the new owner didn't respect her and binned her at an accident at 'only' 30mph never mind at least I know he lost out heavily on the insurance payout.

Right 1st one a uk turbo ppp

2nd a uk wrx few mods and lasted about 3 before his

3rd was a 96 wrx well modded bought off lenn @'S4U

4th took a leap of faith as thought life was to short as my dad had been diagnosed with cancer so got my dream car, spent £1000's on it Inc 6pot ap's, 6 speed box etc

Got into loads of debt as life was to short and had to sell in the end

5th was to ease the pain, well modded but another uk car running 340bhp

Sold it as missed the p1 and went looking for another, this was a year later, to my suppress the guy i sold it to was selling my old one, with my love for it and the time i bought it during i snapped it up with 4k on the clock but at £4k less then I sold it for so for the 2nd time

After another year decided i wanted to tick one more box and own another dream car which was this a mk1 type 25

Then yet another tick list a 450bhp all singing all dancing classic and came across this, bob Rawle's sti5 snapped his arm off to buy it running just shy of 500bhp and 10's of thousands of pounds spent on it

And an end of a great run as need to bank money and get a house so it all came Ronan end in one of these

Not the same but it will do for now as im sorting out a new house
In the new year so hope to get back on board in spring

Sorry for not the best pictures more can be added if need but doing this off my iPhone

Hope you like

My first one, bought with my head and not my heart. At that age STI insurance premiums really wasn't worth it. So I bought a Turbo 2000, stole a lot of the good aftermarket parts and put it back to standard. I actually really love it as a standard car and for the money I let it go for Iwish I had just stored it and thrown some money at it a few years down the line.

It's replacement... Had a nice little spec, was running 280bhp with some great little suspension upgrades. Blew the gearbox and engine within a month of each other, so fitted a low mileage engine and 'box. Actually still own this although it's mid way through being broken.

And last but not least the new one. I wanted a DBM Classic (or anything other than silver) but i saw the spec of this and was sold. APS fmic and wing mounted ik, Link ecu, EXE-TC suspension, AP 4 pots and OZ P1 wheels to name a few. Just need to sort a few niggles out, might get my old engine and gearbox fitted.

my MY97 Uk Turbo.... bought back in June 1999 with just over 50k miles!.... then sold it Jan 2004 with approx 98k miles on the clock, only performance mod was straight through magnex full system.. too it to 240bhp with a ITG filter and a bailey D/v. STi 5 spoiler and smoked indicators and TeamDynamic Rim 2000 alloys.

the neons added an extra 15bhp too.

Sold it to buy another scoob.. but after weks of looking for the right car called it a day and bought a 50bhp Smart 4-2. S CHEAP TO RUN,

still got it now.

Back in 2005 bought the Smart Roadster... modded that

Now looking to sell the roadster in the new year to come back to the fold.

Now on the look out for a WRX STi PPP Hatch ... 2009/2010..... ideally in White, but seeing tey are like hens teeth might have to look at other colours.

I will be back!!!..... anyone on here want to buy a Smart Roadster ??? ???

My only Subaru, RB5 #138 bought Mar 2007 with 65k on the clock, sold it in October this year with 97k as the daily commute doing too many miles, along with the VPower cost going up this year.

Hopefully one day I will come back to Subaru as a weekend car.

My first..MY95 WRX

Number 2 was a move for a newage, looked like this when i got it.

A couple of quid later it looked like this.

Missed the classic so it was sold and bought this...MY96 WRX RA

Off came the 18's,tints and the big rear spoiler another couple of quid spent and it looked like this.

That was sold to a friend and along came this...Version 3 STI RA

This has more than a couple of quid spent on it and ended up looking like this.
