My MY05 Blob STi - New Rims/Coilovers.
I have been waiting for ages to find time to fit my coilovers and hadn't really intended to buy new Alloys this side of the New Year but an incident in the snow meant i had no choice (3 Enkei MY05/Hawk Sti Alloys for sale)
...so found some cheapies off the Bay of E... and her she is now:
New Wheels fitted, very low pro tyres not exactly to my liking, but loving being back on 18's Wheels are Inovit GTR's, Black on Black so cant go wrong really. Was pretty hard finding budget 5x114.3 Alloys, but did pretty well i think
Also with Added Coilovers... thanks to Apex Performance, spot on kit at a Great Price... well impressed
Need to fettle with the ride stiffness to get the best all round ride, but really cant fault them.
Sorry its dirty, but still, any comments/criticism welcome

I will Admit, i took that picture... and then raised it about 10mm at the front, twas a tad low, even for my standards... used to love my Dub Scene... couldnt even get off my drive (almost flat) without the centre section of the exhaust scraping.
To adjust them, just measure everything as you go... make sure you adjust each pair of Coils the same (Fronts/Backs)... either measure how many rotations that Coil rings are spun or measure a distance... say bottom bracket to Coil Ring for example.
The Cheapies were pretty good going considering they have next to new Avon ZZ3 tyres... and for well under £300 i cant complain

225/40 would have been a better profile, agreed, but beggars cant be choosers.
I will hunt down some better profile tyres in the new year once Xmas is done with and the purse strings can loosen up a bit
Thanks for all the comments

Awesome!
Cheers fella. Just seen your post on KNW, nice one
Some good pictures, not a bad turnout really all things considered.
Yeah kz, its a nightmare, will see how long i can stand it, imagine it will get raised soon enough, maybe when the snow has buggered off, lol.

Front Grille is standard...
With the grille off the car... Just remove the mesh by undo-ing the clips, use a hacksaw to the cut out the badged section... two straight cuts, 1 top, 1 bottom. It has a solid base so can just be removed to give the de-badged look. Sand it down and spray satin black if you can be bothered, i couldnt, lol. Replace the mesh, I left the STi badge in place, but that just clips off if you want... and re-fit grille... free de-badged grille
