Unhappy flat battery

when i go to start my scooby the battery is flat after leaving it for 3 weeks in garage ,should the battery last longer ,or is a crap battery .

could be just a crap battery,could try charging it and seeing how currant drain the is on the battery

Mine does the same, probably the alarm system or the tracker if fitted causing the drain. I just hook mine upto an Optimate battery charger and conditioner whilst its in the garage and its good to go at anytime then

Same happened to my 03 STi. It's a known problem with Subarus that batteries drain quick.

yeah sounds good idea hooking up to a charger when in garage ,how much did you pay for your charger

Can't remeber what I paid but I think they're about forty quid, here is a link to their site http://www.optimate.co.uk/accumate.htm They do an attachment that you can connect to the battery, then all you have to do is connect to a small plug socket through the front grille to charge.

Yeah its a pity they drain quick ,will look at getting a charger ..

Thanks for that its worth the money if its going to happen everytime i leave it for a while...cheers

Same here. I'm on my 3rd Battery now. And got a Charger! Short story is, mines never in the week just weekends. Now I go out for a 10min drive in the week. Seems to have fixed it!
