Default cadwell park

me and a few of the lads did a trackday at cadwell park on monday,to say it was a good day is an understatment.for anyone that hasnt done a trackday yet i would say go do it as its the best feeling in the world being able to race your car and not worry about getting pulled over for speeding.there was a couple of other scoobs there on the day as well as loads of other makes of cars.at the end of the day you can buy a cd, with all the pics that have been taken of your car throughout the day.so heres a few of my car.

i wouldnt say its all about power, more about the handling and braking setup you have.whatever power you have you will enjoy it.

Stock power is the best place to start. 270-280bhp on a STI is plenty enough to get you in to trouble.

Its all about to power to weight though, 280bhp on a 500kg Caterham would be terrifying. On a 2,000 Jag, not so much.

i think the last pic is my favorite too mate,i have mainly been doing the small coned out track at elvington, but its nothing compaired to the buzz i got from cadwell.i have heard oulton park is a good one and plan on doing more of the main tracks next year including the nurburg ring which i have wanted to do for years but never got the chance.

I had circa 300 bhp and managed to get my lap time to 1min 45 sec.

As a must I suggest decent big brakes, anti roll bars and a swirl pot system.

SIDC/MLR Trackdays are free to spectators

Bring a helmet and you may even get a passenger ride for £10
