cadwell park

me and a few of the lads did a trackday at cadwell park on monday,to say it was a good day is an understatment.for anyone that hasnt done a trackday yet i would say go do it as its the best feeling in the world being able to race your car and not worry about getting pulled over for speeding.there was a couple of other scoobs there on the day as well as loads of other makes of cars.at the end of the day you can buy a cd, with all the pics that have been taken of your car throughout the day.so heres a few of my car.

thanks, mine has the AP 6 pots up front,AP 4 pots rear and boy did they work well.i have toyo r888's on so once they got warm they were really sticky.then when them 600 horses start to pull you along on the straights its like a dream come true.:D

The Stitcher 13 October 2010 07:17 PM

leecalcars 13 October 2010 07:22 PM

i wouldnt say its all about power, more about the handling and braking setup you have.whatever power you have you will enjoy it.

Anger 13 October 2010 08:14 PM

Car looks stunning Arf :)

Really want to do this track next year

Murrayf99 13 October 2010 08:36 PM

Stock power is the best place to start. 270-280bhp on a STI is plenty enough to get you in to trouble. :)

Its all about to power to weight though, 280bhp on a 500kg Caterham would be terrifying. On a 2,000 Jag, not so much.

I had circa 300 bhp and managed to get my lap time to 1min 45 sec.

As a must I suggest decent big brakes, anti roll bars and a swirl pot system.
