Default Few pics of my 01 bug

Picked this up a few days ago from bristol for £4500 and has done 78k but doesn't show it at all. Hardly any stone chips at all only scratches i can see are underneath the door handle and there is a 5p size dent to the front drivers side wing but you have to look very closely.

Lots of upgrades from standard car, has prodrive brake kit and i've just ordered some bells which are going to be anodised blue, 330mm discs and pads from godspeed.

Has leather interior which is immaculate, the only thing that lets it down is a bit of wear to the steering wheel, but is to be expected, has a pioneer stereo with an ipod attachment in the cubby hole behind the handbrake.

Boosts exceptionally well and handles brilliantly.

prodrive 18" wheels will eventually get refurbed, as the paint is starting to come off and they have a few kerb marks aswell.

Very tidy bug you've got, as for the lights i'm quite happy with them on the front of mine.

Are they hard to find? Or expensive to buy new?

Not sure what they are to buy these days mate
You would be looking at around £250 - £300 for a set secondhand mate. Shame you are so far away as I may of swapped.

Watcha fella, more than pleased.

Ordered some new front discs and pads as the discs were getting low. Was spot on on the way home and had a 1/3rd of a tank left, where as the wagon was almost empty.

Picked myself up an ipod today so will get that connected up later, stereo i must admit is proving a bit of a challenge, can get it to search for stations but can't work out how to manually store them.

Big thankyou to yourself for looking after it so well, and all the best with the little one in september.

Had a go with my snow foam attachment that turned up during the week, had a read into the right percentage of foam to water but got confused with the maths. so i'm doing it by trial and error, think i need a bit more snow foam than water as it's not quite thick enough.

That foam is plenty thick enough, why does it need to be any thicker, it wont make any difference to its cleaning/lifting ability anyway. I tried foam on my own, its more a gimmick than anything else. A quick hose down with a pressure washer just with water is more effective before washing.

Was just going by a few videos i had seen on youtube, where the foam was sticking a lot better.

Few more pics after a quick wash this afternoon. Have ordered a sticker in remembrance to richard burns, there is one on the left hand side of the boot for colin mcrae so i thought i would balance it up a bit with one on the right hand side.

After washing the car yesterday, gave it a wax this morning. Pretty happy with the results, tried to take a few shots to show the reflections.
