Most enjoyable day. Nice to see some old faces, and to finally put faces to a few names. There were some interesting sights to be seen during the day.

There were the hard working team from Tyres Northampton

There was this spy shot of Scooby Sport's prototype water injection system

On the track nothing had changed though.

P1s were still the best looking cars on the track.

Biased ? Me?

EVOs were still causing traffic jams

and the there was this Nissan

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Any of the 40+ people who forgot to fill in a form, and who would like to see proofs, should email me at josh@apexphoto.co.uk with their car details and their postal address.

Josh

Josh

I'd have to agree with you, I thought the P1's were the best looking on the track as well. (BTW nice shot of mine above).

What a great day & see you at the karting.

Excellent pics and from what I've read an excellent day.

Now I don't want to inflame arguments here but the traffic jam piccie on an Evo forum would go down v well.

EBR,

Indeed it would. However, I'm sure the caption would be ammended to read 'Evo leads the way again', or something of that order.

It's one of the things I like about captioning pix. You can manipulate the way the pic is interpreted. The same pic could equally well carry the caption RB5 comes round to lap the Skyline and Evo, and the 'spy' shot could read something like 'I knew Scoobs were thirsty but....'.

The thing I did find hard to caption was that Nissan.

I have to admit that if the owner hadn't filled in a form, I still wouldn't know what it was. I bet people move out of it's way pretty quick though. It's an intimidating beast.

Why? Because it looks to me like a Nissan Stagea - the body of a boring estate car with the chassis and drivetrain of a Skyline

Andy is right, its is/was a Stagea, pretty quick from what I saw. Very nice car, a total beast.

Matt,

Have you any idea how long it takes to check and sort 700 pix you impatient git

60-70% of the proofs went out today, and the prepaid CD's for you and Dockjock will be in the post either today or tomorrow. As usual, the CD will contain all the pix of your car (both of them ), together with general shots from the pits and briefing room (around 35 I think).

Wink

Josh,

I'm sure it would take me several weeks to sort out all those pics so I would imagine it would take an unorganised, monkey brained gimp such as yourself many years which leads me to conclude that Lynn does it for you...

( )

Matt

P.S. Thanks - I was expecting towards the end of the week....
