looks mint, what spec is it, I am picking mine up on saturday can't wait. I saw a mint 03 one at a garage near manchester, but ended up buying one a bit more local from a renault dealer, don't know how they got hold of it though.

Cheers, it's an '03 plate, standard JDM STI spec except for a Powerstation upgrade to 350bhp ![Luxhello](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/luxhello.gif)
Seriously tempted by the Powerstation Type 25 chassis upgrade though...

did you get it from boss performance as it looks a minter just like the one they had and same spec, I just couldn't get up there and then found one a bit more local so ended up leaving a deposit on that one, if it is that one they sent me details and some hi-res pics and it looked superb, hope you enjoy it,
Darren

That's the one. Like you say, it's in pretty good shape for a 7yr old car. What colour / spec is the one you've gone for?
You're going to love it mate, that twin scroll is worlds ahead of the response and power I got from my old Type UK STI!

I found a my05 on a 04 plate WR blue, only has an exhaust and uk fuel map, so not going to be as quick as that one, but going from an 03 wrx so it does feel a lot more planted on the road, test drove it but can't wait to pick it up now, got insurance sorted for 1pm saturday so will be at the garage before then. Think I will be burning a few quids worth of petrol the weekend but at least I will be having fun. All on plg road tax as well, so slight increase in insurance is covered by the road tax saving.

Daz, sounds good mate. I seem to recall that the MY05 cars brought in a few improvements (wider track, different suspension, etc) that is meant to make them pretty tidy. Think I've heard people on here refer to the MY05 as the finest car to ever leave the factory, so I think you're going to have a big grin come Saturday!

Just like mine
MY03 JDM STi in WR Blue owned since new. I have the full T25 suspension set up on mine.
I think mine has a few more dints and scratches than yours. Yours looks in very good nick bodywise.

SPEN555, how are you finding the T25 setup compared to standard? I'm really tempted but a bit wary that the chassis package won't be able to shine as much on a basic JDM STI as it would on the lighter Spec C the T25 was based on? ![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
I'd love to hear your thoughts on ride / grip / tramlining etc!

I only get tramlining when I am running the RE070's.
My normal road tyres are 18's and they are fine no tramlining whatsoever.
5 years ago I had the T25 setup fitted as I got the dreaded rear strut knocking so went for the AST's. When I took the car for the AST's I saw that it was only a few hundred quid more to go for the full set up. With the geometry, alk and anti-roll bar the car handles wonderfully.
The damping can be made softer for road use very easily.
HTH.

Sounds good - I do most of my driving on pretty rough B roads, so got to have a good balance between body control and ride quality. Sounds like the T25 setup might be the way to go, got to do some saving up first though! ![Lol1](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/lol1.gif)

Wow never seen a blue Scooby before, so rare these days
just messin'.
It all starts with the splitter, once you got that, its game over! The modding bug begins, soon your wallet will hate you, then the misses hates you but in which order I cant remember![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Nice Scoob, she looks in mint condition.

IMO if your driving on B roads forget the splitter. With the T25 suspension the car was sat lower and within 100 miles of fitting it I had smashed it in pieces on a B road!

Think it'll have to do without a splitter then, it's a working car rather than a show / track queen!
