Default engine bay pick's oppertunity 4 u too show off lol

hi all i currently have my engine out for a re-build and want to tart up my engine bay dont want to go over board like just a nice clean smart look i do have a few ideas but could do with some pictures to help me visualise it lol

was thinking a bit of the old red wrinkel paint from vht any recomendations where to get this from ???? some black and silver spray bit of laquer and a few shiny new bolts but maybe a bit more

think this is just a good excuse to show of thouh for you prowd scooby owner out there come on lets see them......................

you cant buy the vht wrinkle red like it use to be, they do a red, but it doesnt match as well. you could all ways spray a closer matching red over the top.

here is my bay for you

Not the most recent i've tidied up a lot since

Think if i was to do it again all the battery , washer bottle , fusebox and anything else that could be relocated out of site would be leaving it smoothed and simple

Here's one I (*cough*) prepared earlier blue catch can has been deleted since pic taken with another added in diff location.

Good job fella, still going strong & bonkers on the road recently moved the catch can to top right hand side of engine bay albeit under all the wires & stuff. Added an ally bonnet from a STi albeit needs painting (light grey at the mo!) - that standard one was sooooo heavy! Got some racing 8 plugs in there too as previous ones were blowing out at high revs! Did Jamie tell you that I was driving around for 2 months with the frigging MOT run out

I do like these threads, just proves the point that there are so many fantastic looking Impreza's out there, all with stunning engine bays.
