Skippy (ex-scooby owner of renowned fame) came to visit today in his new toy.....so, we ( Skippy, my son Nathan (14) and I ) went for a little jaunt over the Snake Pass....

Stopping off at a lovely Country Inn to participate in refreshments we came across a classic Lagonda....we asked the owner if he'd ever had it sideways but I don't think he thought we were serious....

LOL I cant help but see that Lotus as a modern day chitty chitty bang bang.

 

It takes all sorts I guess, I bet the Impreza won't last nearly as long as the Lagonda, If I had a choice of which car to have for free, (I wish) it'd have to be the Lagonda, I'm going out on Monday in what was my dad's 1929 Morris Minor, Not a Moggy minor that everyone knows, this is the real thing, open top vintage motoring, 'Half the speed, twice the thrill' as my dad used to say!
