Thanks for all nice comments!
Stevep I am thinking of lowering it. I just dont know what kit to go for. Eibach on standard struts or an Avo or Leda racing coilover kit.
JZA the wheels are Team Dynamics Diablo. they are wearing 215/35ZR18 Toyo T1-s rubber. Had a very long chat with Paul @ TSL Motorsport before deciding on these. If anything the road noise is less and the handling does not seem to have been affected. The oil drum is for added traction. More weight over the back wheels!

Very nice looking car. What ET are the wheels and do you get any rubbing ?
Have you got any side-on pictures (like the one with the original wheels) so we can see the wheel/tyre profile.
Cheers

Thank for that. One more question...
Did you notice any issues with the weight of the wheel as the original wheel is 8.5kg and the Diablo is 11kg.
I'm still trying to decide to have either the same as you have or the 18" forged wheels (using Goodyear F1)
Cheers

No signs of tramlineing under braking, or the car following ruts in the road. Steering is just as responsive. The forged wheels (I take it you are looking at the Team Dynamics Vanquish) will be a lot lighter than the diablos, but you are looking at about £300+ a rim. Suspension travel has not been comprimised. The 18's are 607mm overall diameter the 16's with 205/50 are 613mm overall. There is no great increase in width as you can see from the pictures. Big brake conversions may fowl with the diablo as of the spoke design (it curves in at the top to give the split rim appearance). TSL do a brake conversion that will fit behind them, and allegedely gives more torque than ap 6 pots. Any other question just let me know, I will try and answer them for you. 17's are a a good comprimise for looks and handling (if you are not a racing car driver would you notice the difference?). Hope this helps.
