Does have that continental French-charm, looks nice in white.

Must be nicely economical compared to most of the motors on here too lol..

Still need creature comforts, for wife and kids. It looks even better in the flesh. So easy to drive, very responsive in any gear, no lag. And the whistle the exhaust makes is very nice when putting foot down.
Been pottering about bit of B road still showing 28mpg. Same thing with the scoob and never got much past 19mpg. Must say the cornering on this thing is fantastic, really beyond my expectations. Will give it a proper run at Angelsey next week.
When i got rid of the STi I thought a couple of times to go and buy it back, and had we made the right decision? But for now I will say yes we have. The mrs loves it.

Exlnt motors ive had two, Check my video's of mine at the ring chassing an evo 7rs 400bhp .

Type in youtube .bigfud1

Enjoy.

As for the r26r there is very little difference a bit of weight loss and some 888s a set of rear plastic windows and a roll cage that is heavier than 10 sets of seats.

Did really well on track, LSD was great. Had wheelspin with TC of, more down to my crap driving but soon got used to it. Brembos are spot on,f stamped on em all day. Just a lot of fun, looses the ground to subaru, evo on the straights(for now) but cornering is marvellous, so nimble and light. Had a really good day, couple of kind gentlemen allowed me as a passenger in their cars, an Audi R8 what a noiseand a Ferarri F430 Scuderia(550bhp). Just couldnt believe the ability of the ferrari until id been in it, awesome, and the guy drove it proper. I always said if i won the lottery i wouldnt buy a ferrarri etc.. id always go for R35 GTR, M5. Well thats ****e, Ferarri it is.

Really nice car Lee, the LSD is awsome. It's a nice feeling being able to accelerate earlier and being pulled towards the apex as soon as it starts spinning the inside wheel. I had a Quaife fitted to my 205 and it was fantastic to drive.
It's a pity my mrs is not a fan of Renaults.

Very nice and the seats on these look the nuts.
Are these much better than the 225 on performance?

Seats are fantastic, i can actually fit in them. Never driven a 225 to be honest Bob, think it was more a revision on the Diff and chassis apart from the extra 5bhp.

Kyle, never seen past 20mpg with the scoob Megane blasted round Angelsey and was still on 27-28 on way home. Certainly took some abuse on track, wouldnt have felt 100% confident of the scoob takin that tho.

Gonna fit my R26 R spoiler and mudflaps weekend then give it a good clean. Still got tyre rubber stuck on me paintwork in places.
The Mrs loves it, she doesnt miss the 4 doors and says it very smooth and easy to drive. most of all she feels confident in it.
Oulton Park next in the summer, then "Ring" in autumn me thinks.

Enjoy.
Is the Evo that bad on braking/corners in comparison to your R26 as it leaves you for dead [as expected] but then you catch it at every corner.

I expect it's down to your driver skills eh?

I've just been out in the rain for the first time in it and honestly the grip is immense!! The combination of the R26 and the pilot sport 3's is just incredible. Quiet mid sized roundabout, so I goes round a few times. The faster I was going the more it gripped, found myself having to steer away from the roundabout as I was getting tighter to it!! This little car is just awesome, a car I never thought I'd own instead of a Subaru, but hey, times change. And the Recaros are just spoiling me!!
